Anthony D. Palacios, will cover a range of topics which are central for all attorneys who practice drunk and drugged driving defense. 

Ken Lackey, Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicle Legal Counsel, will discuss the logistics of license revocation and reinstatement.

Chris Aupperle, Nebraska Lawyer Assistance Program will discuss the services provided by NLAP and what assistance may be provided to attorneys who are troubled by substance abuse problems, cognitive decline, stress, depression, and other types of disorders which may impair their ability to perform in a competent and professional manner.

Spike Eickholt, member and NCDAA lobbyist, will summarize recently enacted legislation that impacts the practice of criminal defense law.  Spike will focus on specific statutory changes relating to changes to criminal procedure, substantive changes to criminal law.
