2026 Legislative Update

The Nebraska Legislature has adjourned Sine Die, concluding a session that produced numerous new laws affecting criminal practice. These include the creation of new offenses, increased penalties for existing crimes, and expansion of existing offenses, along with other notable legal changes.
Spike Eickholt, member and NCDAA lobbyist, will provide an overview of the enacted legislation at several in-person legislative update seminars across the state, as well as a remote webinar. See list below for a location near you.
